Rockets Sign 2006-Born Forward Pankratz
April 23, 2024 - The Kelowna Rockets announced Tuesday that they have signed 2006-born forward Connor Pankratz to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. "From the day I decided Kelowna is where I want to go and signed, I honestly couldn't be more excited," said Pankratz. "Coming into a group where they had a good run in the playoffs and knowing what we're building for next year, it's really exciting to be a part of it." Norrie Signs with Hurricanes
April 23, 2024 - LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Tuesday that they have signed 2007-born forward Cameron Norrie to a Western Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement. Norrie, 16, was undrafted in the WHL Prospects Draft, but listed by the Hurricanes. The Kelowna, BC, product recorded 34 points (16g-18a) along with 20 penalty minutes during the 2023-2024 regular season with the Kelowna RINK Hockey Academy U18 team in the CSSHL. April 23, 2024 - Hockey Canada announced this morning that Kelowna Rockets forward Tij Iginla has been added to the Canada's National Men's Under-18 Team for the 2024 IIHF U18 World Championship, completing the 25-man roster. The tournament will take place from April 25-May 5, in Espoo and Vantaa, Finland. Iginla was named to the Western Hockey League's 2023-24 B.C.
