Lumberjacks Win First Clark Cup Final Game in Franchise History with 4-1 Win. Tie Series 1-1

May 10, 2025 - WATERLOO, IA - The saying goes, "A series isn't a series until the home team loses." Saturday night, the Muskegon Lumberjacks turned the Clark Cup Final into a series with a 4-1 win over the Waterloo Black Hawks. The win evens the series 1-1 before shifting to Muskegon for Game 3 next week. A strong second period gave the Jacks a 2-1 lead heading into the final period of regulation, though the Hawks struck first. May 9, 2025 - Teddy Townsend produced a hat trick, and Reid Morich added four points Friday during the Waterloo Black Hawks' 8-5 Game One win against the Muskegon Lumberjacks during the Clark Cup Final. The Young Arena crowd of 2,956 was happy to fling their caps to the ice as Townsend completed the feat before the midpoint of regulation. Omaha Finalizes Trio of Trades

May 9, 2025 - Omaha, NE - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League completed three trades today. Omaha received forward Parker Deschene from the Fargo Force for a 2025 Phase II 7th Round Pick. The Lancers also acquired forward Brendan Defeo as a Future Consideration from a prior trade with the Green Bay Gamblers. Finally Omaha swapped James Russell for forward Grayden Robertson-Palmer from the Dubuque Fighting Saints. May 8, 2025 - Omaha, NE - The Omaha Lancers selected 19 players in the 2025 Phase II USHL Draft and the Scouting Staff gave their insight on all the picks. Round 1 Pick 4: Yegor Kim The first pick for Omaha in the Phase II Draft was Kazakhstan native Yegor Kim.
