April 26, 2024 - After suffering just their second loss of the post-season last night, the Cape Breton Eagles will look to even up their QMJHL semi-final series against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar tonight. Baie-Comeau took a 1-0 series lead with a 4-0 victory in the opening contet last night.

April 26, 2024 - Boucherville, QC - The QMJHL is proud to announce that Jean-François Grégoire of the Baie-Comeau Drakkar has won the Ron-Lapointe Trophy as the Head Coach of the Year.
In his fourth season behind the Baie-Comeau bench, Grégoire led the Drakkar to team records of 53 wins and 109 points, the 11th highest total in QMJHL history.
His squad finished first in the league in defense (163 goals against), third in offense (290 goals) and on the penalty kill (81.2%), and fourth on the power play (25.7%).

April 25, 2024 - Boucherville, QC - The lottery to determine the Top 5 for the upcoming QMJHL Draft presented by Fenplast took place this evening on RDS, during a special Hockey 360 broadcast.
The Cape Breton Eagles will have the chance to draft first overall on June 7 at the Avenir Centre in Moncton.
The Eagles will be speaking first for the second time in three years. In 2022, they chose defenseman Tomas Lavoie.

It is the ninth time in franchise history that the Saint John Sea Dogs will be entered into the draft lottery and the third time the Sea Dogs have been involved in the five-team format, which began in 2017.
