April 24, 2024 - HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - The SPHL named Fayetteville Marksmen forward Simon Boyko Rookie of the Year Wednesday. Boyko, 25, was named to the 2023-24 All-Rookie team and All-SPHL Second Team after skating in 39 games for Fayetteville during the 2023-24 season and tallying 56 points (27G+29A). His 19 powerplay points (8G+11A) led rookies in all three categories. April 18, 2024 - HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - The SPHL announced its 2023-24 All-SPHL Second Team selections Thursday, which included Fayetteville Marksmen rookie forward Simon Boyko. Boyko, 25, was named to the All-Rookie team Wednesday after skated in 39 games for Fayetteville during the 2023-24 season, and tallying 56 points (27G+29A). April 17, 2024 - HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - The SPHL announced its 2023-24 All-Rookie Team Wednesday, with three Fayetteville Marksmen players, Matt Araujo, Simon Boyko and Ryan Kenny earning honors on the six-player list. April 9, 2024 - HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - The SPHL announced Ryan Kenny as the Warrior/SPHL Player of the Week Tuesday. Kenny, 24, finished the weekend with 2 wins and 1 shutout against the Pensacola Ice Flyers, making 65 saves on 67 shots against in the series. In his first SPHL season, Kenny leads the league in save percentage with a .929 and has a third-ranked 2.38 goals against average in 32 games. The shutout Saturday was his second of the campaign.
