Bisons Games More Affordable Than Triple-A Average for Family of Four
May 4, 2011 - International League (IL1)
Buffalo Bisons News Release
A 2011 survey of the 30 Triple-A Minor League Baseball clubs found that the cost for a family of four to attend a Buffalo Bisons game at Coca-Cola Field is below the average of teams at this level.
The survey was based on two adult tickets, two child tickets, two beers, two sodas, four hot dogs and one souvenir program. The Triple-A average for such a package was $63.17 while the same items cost JUST $59.00 at a Bisons game at Coca-Cola Field.
"The Bisons Baseball Experience has always been about maximizing the value our fans receive when they come out to Coca-Cola Field," said Mike Buczkowski. "We are proud to offer a very affordable and fun summer option for the families of Western New York."
While the survey individually priced ballpark items, the Bisons already have in place several ticket packages and special offers that add even more value to attending a game. A one-game Family Four Pack includes four reserved tickets, four hot dogs, four Coca-Cola soft drinks and a 25% discount at the Batter's Box Gift shop for only $56. Fans can purchase the same offer -called the BPO 4-Pack- for the team's annual KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration on July 3rd for only $99.
Every Monday in 2011 is a Bargain Monday with $7 tickets and $1 ice cream and $1 popcorn in the concession stands. On KRAFT Singles Tuesday Tickets, fans can get a buy-one, get-one free ticket when they take a KRAFT singles wrapper to the Coca-Cola Field Box Office. You can also get a buy-one, get-one free ticket on National Honey Board Wednesdays with a receipt of a honey purchase.
