Syracuse, NY ( April 17, 2018 ) - The Syracuse Chiefs lost the opening game of a three-game series against the Indianapolis Indians on Tuesday afternoon, 4-2. Chiefs starting pitcher César Vargas picked up a hit and an RBI in the game while throwing five innings. Indianapolis (5-4) struck first in the top of the first inning.
