Kalamazoo, MI.- The Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned netminder Matiss Kivlenieks to Kalamazoo from the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) the team announced on Saturday morning. Kivlenieks, pronounced muh-TEESE kihv-LEHN-ihks, appeared in 14 games with the Monsters this season, posting a record of 4-4-0 with a 3.71 goals against average and a .873 save percentage. Kings Recall Defenseman Matt Roy from Ontario

ONTARIO - The Los Angeles Kings, NHL affiliate of the Ontario Reign, have recalled defenseman Matt Roy from Ontario. The 23-year-old Roy (born March 1, 1995) is a 6-0, 208-pound native of Canton, Mich. who has appeared in 44 games this season with the Reign, posting 29 points (8-21=29) and 15 penalty minutes, leading all Ontario blueliners this season. Since making his professional debut during the 2016-17 season, Roy has appeared in 101 AHL games, recording 47 points (12-35=47) and 45 penalty minutes. Detroit Recalls Hronek

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Detroit Red Wings on Saturday recalled defenseman Filip Hronek from the Grand Rapids Griffins. Hronek, 21, has split his second professional season between Grand Rapids and Detroit. He leads all Griffins defensemen in points (23), goals (7), assists (16) and power play goals (4) while adding a plus-four rating and 45 penalty minutes in 28 appearances. Sockers Win In Donovan's Debut 6-4 Over Tacoma

SAN DIEGO - Landon Donovan assisted on the game-winning goal in his Major Arena Soccer League debut as the San Diego Sockers defeated the Tacoma Stars by a 6-4 count in front of 8.492 fans at Pechanga Arena San Diego.
